Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Spokane Valley seeks a Frozen Lead to oversee the Frozen Department, ensuring superior customer service and sales objectives. You will train and supervise Frozen Food Clerks, adjust signs and prices, and keep stock levels optimal while minimizing shortages.

You may assist as cashier during peak times to support store operations. Responsibilities include inventory control, stocking, safety and cleanliness, and operation of standard equipment; you will also handle pallets

Qualifications

• Ability to follow company customer service procedures. Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
• Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Desired: Previous experience as a clerk.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service as currently defined by the employer within the scope of the position and within company policy.
• Train, schedule, and supervise Frozen Food workers to ensure optimum staffing patterns for the department.
• Speak with customers to resolve problems involving sales, satisfaction with service, or product and other problems related to the operation of the Frozen Food area.
• Perform daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
• Replace stock in coolers, freezers, and end displays.
• Make sure that all expired items are removed from the shelves daily.
• Unload boards and stack on pallets or six wheel carts. Push pallet jacks or six wheeled carts through store to display areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of display areas and freezers.
• Other duties as assigned.
