Job summary

Homeland Stores seeks a Frozen Manager to maximize sales and profit in the frozen foods department while ensuring optimal store conditions. You will greet customers, manage stock, and coordinate deliveries and promotions to keep shelves full and appealing.

Responsibilities include organizing coolers, rotating stock, and maintaining safety protocols. The role requires operating equipment such as balers and pallet jacks, and training new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical ability to count and calculate
• Able to read and write English and follow instructions
• Good interpersonal communication with customers and coworkers
• Ability to read labels, codes, and temperature readings

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to questions; explain store policies
• Prepare/organize cooler/freezer for merchandise receipt
• Count and stock frozen products; rotate stock and ensure dates are correct
• Order frozen items to avoid out-of-stocks and maintain turns
• Clean floors, shelves, and equipment; use sanitizing agents safely
• Operate baler, case cutter, pallet jack, and forklift as trained
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and replenish displays
• Maintain inventory records and report damaged goods
