Job summary

Food Lion is hiring for a Perishable Department associate in our Goldsboro location. You will provide fast, friendly service while maintaining meat, dairy, and other perishables to standard quality.

You will receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure accurate stocking according to store procedures. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a willingness to learn multiple tasks, and adherence to safety and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department.
• Maintain product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy, and other perishables.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure proper storage.
• Assist with safe and accurate handling, labeling, weighing and stocking of items.
• Adhere to Food Lion policies, safety guidelines and dress code.
• Support promotional materials and maintain department layout.
• Complete CBT and training packets as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
