Job summary

Harris Teeter in Durham, NC is seeking a part-time Dairy/Frozen Clerk responsible for processing and stocking products according to standards, cleaning work areas, and delivering friendly customer service. You may also unload stock and reload salvage as needed.

When assigned, you will perform duties of the frozen food clerk. Applicants should be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a cool environment with occasional exposure to wet conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and write in English; communicate with customers.
• Basic math for money and weight measurements.
• Complete training including food sanitation and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process and stock products according to Dairy/Frozen standards.
• Clean and maintain work areas; unload and reload stock.
• Provide customer service to shoppers and assist as needed.
• Perform duties of frozen food clerk when assigned.
