Job summary

HUDSON CITY CONSULTING LIMITED LIAB is seeking a Front-of-House Bakery Associate to provide friendly, efficient service and support daily bakery operations. You will greet customers, take orders, prepare beverages, package products, and maintain clean, welcoming spaces.

This temp-to-perm role offers a full-time path for the right candidate. Schedule typically 5am to 1:30pm with weekend shifts; you may train in cash handling and operating the register.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Take customer orders accurately and process cash and card payments.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to bakery standards.
• Package breads, pastries, and other bakery products carefully for customers.
• Assist customers with product questions.
• Maintain attractive, organized, and fully stocked product displays.
• Clean and organize the front counter, dining area, beverage station, restrooms, and customer areas.
• Perform daily opening and closing cleaning duties.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
• Restock supplies, packaging materials, and front-of-house items as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily bakery operations.
• Must be able to handle money and cash registers (will train).
