Job summary

MaineGuide, a friendly neighborhood bakery in Maine, seeks a front-end team member who enjoys talking with people and helping customers. You will greet guests, take orders, wrap pastries, stock displays, and keep the front of the shop neat.

This in-person role requires reliability and a positive attitude, with training provided if needed. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, with 13–16 hours per week anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bakery or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to greet customers and help with orders.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on processes.

We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and outgoing person to join our bakery team!

This is a front-end customer service position where you'll be one of the smiling faces our customers see when they walk through the door.

What you'll be doing:

• Greeting and helping our customers
• Taking orders and answering questions
• Packaging up all the delicious goodies
• Keeping our bakery cases stocked, clean, and looking sharp
• Keeping the front of the bakery clean, neat, and welcoming
• Running the register and handling transactions
• Helping with special orders and customer requests
• Working together with our team to make sure our customers leave happy!

We're looking for someone who is reliable, personable, enjoys talking with people, and takes pride in keeping things looking their best. Bakery or customer service experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person!
