Job summary

Target Security Specialist in our Asset Protection team helps keep guests, team members, and the brand safe. You’ll monitor activities, respond to incidents, and use our video surveillance system to document cases and support store security.

This role requires a minimum age of 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work nights and weekends in a fast-paced setting while delivering friendly guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state/local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and engages guests and team members at the front of store.
• Lead a physical security culture and maintain safe standards throughout the store.
• Respond to and document security incidents.
• Conduct merchandise recoveries and provide apprehension support.
• Submit documentation in the system following AP policy and procedures.
• Understand and use the video surveillance system.
