Wendy's is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations during their shift. You will lead frontline staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold food quality and cleanliness. This hands-on role requires strong communication, problem solving, and multitasking abilities.

As a Shift Manager, you will coach team members, monitor service speed, manage labor costs, and enforce safety and sanitation standards while maintaining Wendy's high standards of guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills to effectively lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to relay information to team members and management.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively, resolving issues with minimal disruption.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• High level of attention to detail in maintaining restaurant standards and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members during the shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to improve performance and morale.
• Ensure staff are trained on policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Delegate tasks based on priorities and workflow to cover all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain exceptional guest experience and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Oversee daily operations including food preparation, inventory, and cleaning.
• Monitor speed of service, food quality, and cleanliness during the shift.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and responsible cash register operations.
• Manage labor costs by adjusting staffing levels to meet demand.
• Maintain adherence to payment policies and safety regulations.
• Ensure breaks and scheduling are managed appropriately and shifts are covered.
• Enforce food safety and sanitation standards in all areas.
• Make quick, well-reasoned decisions and resolve staff or customer issues.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, and guests and report issues when needed.
