Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship as required for VA appointments.
• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in a US state/DC.
• Residency training in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs and records history and physical examinations during clinic visits.
• Evaluates, consults, develops diagnoses, and manages the primary care panel.
• Orders diagnostic tests and medications per approved formulary; ensures timely follow-up.
• Educates patients regarding conditions and recommended treatments.
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; telework eligible on Ad-Hoc basis.
