Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is recruiting Phlebotomists to support a VA Medical Center and VA Outpatient Clinics at the Martinez clinic in Martinez, CA. This multiyear, full-time position specifies a schedule that may change at the direction of Ansible or its customers.

Requirements include CA CPT I/II license, completion of an approved phlebotomy training course, AHA CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of recent patient service tech/phlebotomy experience; 2+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPT I or II license issued by the State of California.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent).
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/BLS.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years as a patient service technician/phlebotomist.
• 2+ years of phlebotomist experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• No sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Performs proper specimen collection and labeling procedures.
• Performs standard laboratory techniques related to phlebotomy.
• Accession of specimens and ensure timely transport and distribution.
