Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP and safety guidelines.
• Leadership experience in a production setting.
• Forklift experience (2 years) and ability to operate equipment safely.
• Basic math and computer skills for data entry and tracking.
• Team player with multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment and flexible schedules.
• Ability to understand plant KPIs (production, quality, safety).
• English reading/writing/speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work of associates and assist with training and break coordination.
• Oversee inventory placement for accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with production personnel on product availability and aging issues.
• Verify in-transit numbers with Transportation; report discrepancies.
• Fill in for Team Lead and associates as needed.
• Communicate with drivers and Dispatch on load status.
• Complete required departmental forms and ensure proper paperwork.
• Ensure proper picking/rotation according to schedule and audit paperwork.
• Assign work orders and perform routine cycle counts.
• Follow GMP/PPE and all safety and food quality programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
