Job summary

H Mart is seeking an approachable Tech Operations Specialist to deliver frontline IT support for our Illinois offices and store locations. You will resolve hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person visits, while maintaining documentation, updating knowledge bases, and educating staff to ensure stable retail operations.

Qualifications include proven IT help desk experience, hardware/software troubleshooting skills, strong communication, and familiarity with help desk

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT Help Desk or similar role.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with help desk software and remote desktop tools.
• Certs like CompTIA A+ or similar are a plus.
• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
• Assist users with hardware, software, and network issues.
• Walk users through problem-solving steps with clear instructions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user issues.
• Escalate complex problems to IT support teams as needed.
• Maintain records of issues and solutions; update knowledge base.
