Job summary

Louisville Metro Government is seeking qualified EMS personnel to operate an emergency medical vehicle and provide care to injured or ill individuals. You will lift, carry and transport patients from homes or accident scenes to medical facilities as part of the EMS response.

Required qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, minimum age of 18, and successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical, polygraph, and annual medical exam per OSHA standards.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must not have been convicted of a felony.
• Misdemeanor convictions will be considered on an individual basis.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical examination.
• Must pass a pre-employment polygraph test.
• Must pass an annual medical examination as mandated by OSHA.
