Job summary

Louisville Metro Government seeks an experienced EMS professional to provide advanced medical care, manage respiratory support, and operate EMS vehicles in high-pressure environments. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum
EMT-Paramedic certification valid in Kentucky
CPR instructor certification preferred or required within one year of employment
Must pass pre-employment drug screening, physical, polygraph, and annual OSHA medical exam

Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical treatment including injections and IV fluids per protocols
Operate an emergency medical vehicle in response to incidents
Lift, carry, and transport injured or ill individuals to medical facilities
Administer medications and manage airway via endotracheal intubation as needed
Communicate patient status and treatment with physicians and EMS teams
Train and supervise new hires and trainees on EMS procedures and protocols

Education
