Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health is seeking a compassionate EMT-B to provide essential pre-hospital care in the Josephine, TX area. You will respond to 911 calls, assess patients, perform basic life support, and assist in patient transport and transfer under Medical Director's authorization.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Texas EMT-B certification is required.
CPR certification.
Read, write and interpret instructions in English.

Responsibilities

Respond to 911 and non-911 calls, operate a variety of emergency vehicles in all weather and road conditions.
Assess patient conditions and provide basic life support as directed.
Assist in patient transport and transfer.
Communicate clearly with dispatchers, EMS crews, and first responders.
Maintain vehicle and equipment readiness and cleanliness.
Complete daily vehicle and supply checklists and restock as needed.
Document patient care reports and billing information accurately and promptly.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and driving laws of the department and state.
Work under high-stress conditions with physical and psychological demands.
Provide direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
Demonstrate clinical competency in patient care situations.
