Job summary

Priority Ondemand seeks an EMT-R/EMR to support EMTs and Paramedics in daily tasks and ambulance operations in Covington, GA. The role includes driving, patient documentation, HIPAA compliance, and following SOPs. Training is provided to qualified applicants.

The candidate must hold a Georgia EMT-R Certification, be 18+, and possess a high school diploma or GED. A valid Georgia driver’s license and BLS certification are required, with background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Georgia EMT-R certification required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification required (training provided).
• Completion of orientation and training program.
• Background, MVR and drug screen required.
• Current Georgia Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all calls for service from Central EMS as directed.
• Safely escort EMTs and patients; comply with SOPs and protocols.
• Ensure ambulance and equipment are cleaned and checked daily.
• Prepare and complete incident and exposure reports and unit checkoffs.
• Adhere to Central EMS policies; report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle compliance with state laws and regulations.
• Attend mandatory meetings and maintain readiness and professionalism.
• Present a professional appearance while in uniform on or off duty.
• Remain self-motivated with minimal supervision; perform other duties as required.
