Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician for the ADC InfraOps DCEO team to perform hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation in a data center environment.

The role requires operating and maintaining standby generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, and building automation systems. You'll work 12-hour rotating shifts, support Data Center Operations technicians, conduct routine rounds, and perform root cause analyses

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection or trending.
• Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, and PDU/ATS replacements.
• Provide support to Data Center Operations technicians.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
