Job summary

Base One Technologies seeks a JCDC Cyber Triage Analyst to serve as a frontline defender, performing initial analysis and triage of cyber threat reports, IOC submissions, and incident notifications. The role mirrors Tier 1/2 SOC with enhanced threat intel responsibilities while coordinating with government and private sector partners in the Arlington, VA area.

The candidate will triage tickets, analyze IOCs, prioritize threats, and produce concise reports with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
• 3–5 years of threat intel/SOC/cyber incident response experience.
• Experience triaging threat tickets, IOC submissions, and incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial triage and assessment of incoming threat tickets and IOC submissions.
• Analyze IPs, domains, file hashes, network patterns, and malware artifacts.
• Determine threat severity and impact to critical infrastructure sectors.
• Enrich IOCs using threat intel platforms and OSINT resources.
• Prepare concise triage reports with actionable recommendations.
• Route tickets to JCDC teams, CISA divisions, or interagency partners.
• Coordinate with sector analysts and interagency liaisons for context.
• Maintain documentation in ticketing systems and knowledge bases.
• Participate in shift handoffs and daily briefings.
• Support development of triage playbooks and SOPs.
• Monitor emerging threat campaigns and adversary activity.
• Provide feedback to submitters and partners on status/outcomes.
• Must collaborate across physical locations.
