Responsibilities

• Detect and question persons suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.

• Maintain surveillance from covert positions, including night operations with infrared scopes.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using vehicles, horses, vessels, and off‑road equipment.
