Job summary

Collinear AI, Inc. is seeking a Member of Technical Staff - Product to help decide what Collinear builds and then build it.

You’ll work directly with researchers and engineers at cutting-edge AI labs, identify their hardest problems, and turn those problems into products that advance how frontier agents are trained and evaluated. This high-ownership role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Research.

Qualifications

• Strong product judgment and ability to create clarity from technical problems.
• Technical fluency to navigate codebases, architectures, and debug.
• Experience with developer tools, AI infrastructure, evaluation systems, data platforms, or similar technical products.
• Ability to reason about quality and what evidence proves success.
• Effective communication with researchers, engineers, customers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set the product strategy and internal roadmap for environments, tasks, and evaluation data.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers at AI labs to understand how they build and evaluate agents.
• Own key technical product areas from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Turn ambiguous research and customer needs into clear product bets, prototypes, and measurable outcomes.
• Drive projects from discovery through delivery, coordinating across teams and contributing code, tests, and reviews.
• Maintain alignment with customers and cross-functional teams via clear roadmaps, demos, and playbooks.
