Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a senior policy professional to lead frontier AI policy advocacy across US federal and state levels. You will coordinate internal POCs and external engagement with Congress and agencies, driving statutory analysis, redlines, and briefings on high-velocity AI legislation.

The role emphasizes translating Frontier AI safety research into actionable policy recommendations and supporting various Google AI business units in policy matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in US technology public policy at federal/state level.
• Experience in frontier AI safety, security, governance and compute governance.
• Experience analyzing and redlining legislation, drafting statutory language and testimony support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale DeepMind and Google's frontier AI policy advocacy across US jurisdictions.
• Serve as a primary policy POC internally on US Frontier AI issues and coordinate external engagement.
• Drive statutory analysis, redlines, testimony prep, and briefings on US AI bills.
• Execute proactive policy campaigns translating frontier safety to policy recommendations.
• Support internal Google AI businesses on policy areas of interest.
