Job summary

State Street's Frontier AI Security & Testing team seeks an hands-on Offensive AI Engineer to design, deploy and operate secure AWS-based platforms for frontier AI models in a regulated financial services setting. You will build IaC pipelines, integrate with model APIs, develop evaluation harnesses and ensure auditable, governance-focused controls across data, tooling and incident response.

This role requires deep cloud, data, and security engineering experience and a bias for practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software/cloud/data/security engineering.
• Experience building GenAI/LLM solutions on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and deploy secure, isolated AWS environments for frontier AI models.
• Build model-agnostic interfaces and evaluation harnesses for benchmarking.
• Develop agentic workflows, tool integrations and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
• Design and implement data pipelines and dashboards to track model performance and cost.
• Implement secure API patterns, logging, governance and auditable controls.
