Job summary

BCG X is seeking an Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team in the United States. You will help to build the next generation of AI solutions, framing new business challenges, designing algorithms, and deploying scalable software for client-facing projects.

You will partner with clients and colleagues to deliver high-impact AI capabilities, contribute to thought leadership, and help lead conferences on behalf of BCG X.

Qualifications

• Open to students currently pursuing a full-time Bachelors, Masters, or PhD and graduating between December 2026 - August 2027.
• Experience applying software development practices and standards to build robust, maintainable software.
• Ability to guide non-technical teams and consultants in best practices for robust software development.
• Strong emphasis on computational efficiency and scalable software design.

Responsibilities

• Owns the full analytics value-chain from framing challenges to deploying scalable AI solutions.
• Partner with clients across industries to design and deliver innovative AI capabilities.
• Develop and deliver thought leadership and participate in conferences on behalf of BCG X.
