Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Scientist to join BCG X in the United States. You will apply data science methods to diverse business problems, partner with clients, and drive significant commercial impact across industries.

You will develop and deploy AI solutions, translate complex analytics into actionable guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of AI-enabled consulting.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in a client-facing role and leading teams.
• Ability to distill complex results into clear visualizations.
• Explain sophisticated data science concepts to non-experts.
• Experience with collaborative coding and DevOps is a plus.
• Significant experience applying advanced analytics to business problems.
• Deep understanding of modern ML techniques and their business implications.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics value chain from framing to deployment for real-world problems.
• Design innovative algorithms and scalable AI software solutions.
• Partner with clients across regions and industries to deliver impact.
• Lead thought leadership, present papers, and contribute to conferences.
• Build and mentor teams to deliver high-quality data science work.
