Job summary

BAE Systems in Springfield, MO seeks a MMS Front End Web Developer to build modern UIs using Angular, React, and Vue.js. You will write HTML‑5, CSS, and JavaScript, and collaborate with QA and stakeholders to deliver polished interfaces.

Candidate should have 3 years of front-end experience, strong UI/UX sense, and familiarity with databases/SQL. Proficiency with Adobe tools and Git is expected; VS Code is the preferred IDE.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of relevant, demonstrated experience in front-end development.
• Experience writing and manipulating HTML-5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong skills in Adobe, user interface design, database or SQL concepts, and programming techniques.
• Ability to lead projects, provide excellent customer service, and communicate orally with quality assurance and visual communication techniques.
• Experience in system applications, database designs, database programming, and networking skills.
• Knowledge and expertise in developing rich interactive multimedia products and electronic publishing tradecraft.
• Extensive experience with commercial electronic publishing applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat) and structured authoring software.
• Ability to incorporate audio, video, graphics, and textual data to create highly advanced presentations.
• Demonstrated skills using modern web development tools and libraries, such as Vue.js, Angular, React, Git, Node.js, SQL, SASS, and jQuery.
• Proficiency with a modern IDE such as VisualStudio Code.
