Job summary

BLN24 is seeking a Front End Web Developer to support CFPB's RegTech BPA program, building intuitive, accessible public-facing web applications with React. You will collaborate with user research and back-end teams and contribute to automated testing and continuous delivery in an open-source environment.

Key responsibilities include designing UIs with HTML5/CSS3, building responsive interfaces, and delivering containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required.
• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Experience with React-based front-end applications.
• Experience delivering public-facing solutions in open-source environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain public-facing web applications using React and modern front-end techniques.
• Build responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to design JSON APIs used by the UI.
• Develop automated tests and support CI/CD pipelines for containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Ensure accessibility and Section 508 compliance for interfaces and visualizations.
• Manage source code, reviews, and releases in GitHub within an Agile team.
