Job summary

OMG Federal seeks a Frontend / UI Developer to transform federal applications into modern, accessible web platforms. You will design dashboards, search interfaces, and responsive UIs that integrate with secure enterprise APIs while delivering clean, usable experiences for government users.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of frontend experience, strong skills in React/Angular/Vue, and a track record of collaborating in Agile teams, with a focus on accessibility (508, WCAG) and DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of frontend/UI development experience, preferably in a federal setting.
• Experience building dashboards, search tools, and workflow interfaces.
• Experience with REST APIs and backend integration.
• Proficiency with React, Angular, or Vue and modern JS tooling.
• Familiarity with Python environments and web frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web UIs for federal applications.
• Modernize legacy interfaces into responsive, scalable solutions.
• Build dashboards, reporting portals, and search-driven interfaces.
• Integrate frontends with secure backend services and REST APIs.
• Improve usability and accessibility per Section 508 and WCAG.
• Collaborate with backend teams, architects, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Troubleshoot UI defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Prepare technical docs and reusable component libraries.
