Frontend Software Engineer

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Department: Building Technology Solutions

Reports To: Commercial Development Manager

Summary

We are launching a new, greenfield product, supported by a newly assembled, cross‑functional team. We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to help design and build modern, user‑focused web applications from the ground up. This role offers the opportunity to apply frontend best practices and modern frameworks in a new product setting, while operating within the quality, security, and scalability standards of an enterprise environment. You will collaborate closely with a full‑stack team to deliver intuitive, high‑quality user experiences from MVP through full production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 17+ (preferred), TypeScript, RxJS, and component‑driven architecture.
• Translate UX designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and data services.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and data flows.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including state management and component design.
• Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for performance, security, and reliability.
• Support the transition of MVPs and prototypes into production‑ready frontend applications.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
• Continuously improve UI performance, usability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular or a similar frontend framework.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience supporting a product from MVP or prototype through production release.
• Strong attention to UI quality, usability, and performance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional product teams.
