Job summary

Bainbridge Health is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to expand the usability and reliability of our healthcare data platform. You will build user-facing features with VueJS and modern frontend tech, deliver roadmap work, and collaborate with product, clinical experts, and backend engineers.

You will translate complex clinical and data analyses into clear, efficient interfaces, improve performance, and ensure a secure, multi-tenant architecture.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern web apps with JavaScript, VueJS, HTML, and CSS.
• Translate complex workflows into usable interfaces for data-heavy software.
• Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI-driven services, OAuth/SAML authentication.
• Knowledge of frontend testing, CI/CD, and version control practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues across browsers and workflows.
• Healthcare or regulated environments experience is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with product, design, backend engineers, and clinical teams.

What You’ll Do

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the usability, reliability, and impact of Bainbridge Health’s platform. You will:

• Design, build, and maintain user‑facing application features using modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, VueJS, Vite, HTML, CSS, and related tooling.

• Deliver roadmap work tied to key product initiatives, including data visualization and customization, integration-driven workflows, analytics, and customer‑facing platform improvements.

• Translate complex clinical, operational, and data‑heavy analyses into clear, efficient, and user‑friendly product experiences.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineering, product, clinical subject matter experts, and customer‑facing teams to define requirements, clarify edge cases, and ship high‑quality features.

• Integrate frontend experiences with backend services and APIs, including thoughtful handling of loading states, errors, permissions, multi‑tenant data boundaries, and performance considerations.

• Improve frontend reliability through testing, peer review, bug resolution, dependency hygiene, documentation, and maintainable component patterns.

• Contribute to a product and engineering culture that values quality, security, usability, and practical execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Frontend Engineering: Strong experience building modern web applications with JavaScript, VueJS, HTML, CSS, and component‑based development practices.

• Product & UX Judgment: Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, usable interfaces, especially in data‑heavy or operational software environments.

• API & Data Integration: Experience working with REST APIs, OpenAPI‑driven services, OAuth and SAML authentication, authorization, role‑based access, and structured application state.

• Engineering Practices: Experience with version control, CI/CD, peer review, frontend testing, build tooling, and maintainable code patterns.

• Quality & Reliability: Comfort troubleshooting production issues, resolving bugs, improving performance, and maintaining a reliable user experience across browsers and workflows.

• Healthcare & Regulated Environments: Experience in healthcare, life sciences, enterprise SaaS, or another regulated industry is a plus, particularly where privacy, security, and HIPAA‑adjacent practices are important.

• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with product, design, backend engineering, clinical users, and customer‑facing teams.

Compensation

Our competitive compensation package is tailored to attract top talent. The base salary range for this role will depend on the candidate’s skills and experience.
