About the Role

We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer with strong experience in React and SCSS to join our dynamic development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining modern, responsive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience.

Overview

While this role primarily focuses on front-end development, experience or familiarity with C# (.NET 8) and SQL Server is a plus, as you will collaborate with multiple team members developing other parts of the final application.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain front-end applications using React and SCSS.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components using modern front-end development best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
• Optimize performance across various devices and browsers.
• Maintain code quality through version control, testing, and best coding practices.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, context API, and component lifecycle.
• Expertise in SCSS for styling and component-based design.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and state management (Redux, Relay, or similar).
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Location and Compensation

• This role will be based in Bayview's Denver office.
• This role is a hybrid role (3 days per week).
• Base compensation is expected to be $100,000 - $165,000 with the opportunity for incentive and bonus compensation. Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including role responsibilities, experience, education, location, and key skills.
