Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Backend) to support USAF missions remotely. You will design and develop back-end architectures, implement RESTful APIs, manage data models, and optimize databases to enable current and new system capabilities.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 7+ years of software development experience, cloud experience, and familiarity with DevSecOps, microservices, and container tools such as Kubernetes, AWS, Jira, Jenkins, and GitLab.

Qualifications

• 7 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers tool suites.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent back-end web design and development experience.
• Demonstrated experience with relational databases, RESTful API development/communication, and system integrations.
• 3 years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
• DCWF Code: 632 Intermediate.
• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly required.
• Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements
