UST is seeking a Frontend React Engineer to join a multi-geo, multi-vendor team building a NextGen High Scale Enterprise Platform. You will design and implement scalable web apps, create reusable UI components, and ensure coding standards across the stack.

The role emphasizes React.js, Redux, GraphQL, and modern front-end tooling, with a hands-on coding emphasis and opportunities to contribute to architecture discussions, tests, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years IT experience with 5 years hands-on React JS experience
• Strong knowledge of front-end apps using ReactJS: components, state mgmt, routing
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Experience with React library including hooks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Experience with Redux, GraphQL, architecture
• Experience writing unit tests with Jest and related tools
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs with Node.js
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need

• 5- 8 years of experience in IT with 5 years of solid hands‑on experience (recent) in React JS framework.
• Strong knowledge and experience in developing front‑end applications using ReactJS, including components, state management, and routing.
• Solid experience in large scale distributed systems and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience working on React library with latest concepts like hooks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Experience with Redux, GraphQL, architecture
• Experience writing unit tests with jest, enzyme/react‑native testing library.
• Proficiency in building using NodeJS, including creating RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, good communication (written & verbal) skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also important for this role.
• The evaluation includes a hands‑on coding/troubleshooting exercise and should be able to articulate past projects and do on the fly troubleshooting/ write logic
• Min bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field is required as it is a complex specialized program.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company‑paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short‑and‑long‑term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short‑term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
