Job summary

Stripe's Sail Core frontend platform team is seeking a deeply technical product manager to own the platform strategy, drive cross-company modernization initiatives, and set the standard for frontend excellence at Stripe.

In this role you will balance architectural health with delivering migration work for hundreds of teams, define key performance metrics, and partner with engineering to make decisions that improve developer experience and merchant outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with platform or developer tools focus
• Deep technical fluency in frontend technologies (JS/TS, React) and performance optimization
• Experience leading large migrations or platform transitions across multiple teams
• Proven use of quantitative metrics to drive platform investments
• Partner with engineering to make architectural trade-offs grounded in user impact

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Stripe's frontend platform
• Drive the largest frontend modernization initiative while holding the line on architectural quality
• Redefine frontend development with agentic tooling
• Define and track key metrics such as latency, build times, and reliability SLOs
• Be the product voice in technical decisions like API surface design and migration tooling
