Job summary

Vincere is seeking a Java Developer/Engineer to join the Sustainment team in the Fort Worth, TX area. The role focuses on developing and maintaining web applications hosted on cloud infrastructure, with collaboration with infrastructure engineers to containerize and deploy in the cloud, covering both front-end and back-end development.

The position is temporary with potential to become permanent and offers a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• BS or MS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing Python REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Background in Aerospace, fleet management or related field; UML knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and design software solutions to meet those needs.
• Develop, test, and modify application source code in response to new requirements.
• Ensure continued functionality of programs during maintenance and testing.
• Document system and application details for future upgrades and maintenance.
• Develop and deploy software, including in cloud environments.
• Integrate external code into core libraries and install/configure application software.
• Evaluate third-party vendors and software partners.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs for application integration.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Java Developer/Engineer to join our dynamic Sustainment team. This role involves developing and maintaining web applications hosted on cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure engineers to containerize and deploy applications in the cloud, focusing on both front-end and back-end development.
