Job summary

TypeSafe is seeking scrappy frontend and full-stack engineers to build high-quality visual interfaces atop advanced AI models. You’ll ship features from design to production, focusing on fast iteration, crafted UI, and reliable performance across web and mobile interfaces.

Our stack centers on Python for backend with TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS for frontend. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and customers to deliver impactful, lasting improvements.

Qualifications

• Generalists with solid full-stack engineering fundamentals and product intuition.
• High attention to detail and a strong bar for quality and speed.
• Enjoy thinking beyond the code to how systems are used in the real world.
• Scrappy and able to navigate ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces.

Responsibilities

• Create high-leverage user interfaces that unlock new capabilities and use cases on top of our model.
• Turn raw model outputs and data into clear, inspectable UIs — owning a domain end-to-end, with craft and judgment over simple optimization.
• Own product features end-to-end — from design and prototype to production — with craft and judgment.
• Build polished, reliable user interfaces that are enterprise-scale.
• Partner closely with product, design, and customers to translate real-world needs into model, system, and product improvements.
