Job summary

TypeSafe AI is hiring for a frontend and full-stack engineer to build high‑quality UIs on top of our frontier AI models. You will work across mobile, webUI, and immersive interfaces, primarily using Python, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

You’ll transform model outputs into intuitive tools, collaborating closely with product, design, and customers. The role emphasizes fast iteration, taste, and a strong bar for quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in frontend and full‑stack engineering with a strong UI focus.
• Comfort with Python-based backends and modern JS/TS tooling.
• Ability to ship polished, enterprise-scale user interfaces.

About The Role

We're looking for scrappy engineers who specialize in frontend and fullstack. You seek joy in beautiful visualization and engaging user interactions - whether it be mobile, webUI or virtual reality. You love fast iteration, you have taste, you don’t stop until it meets your bar. Our tech stack is primarily Python. We also use TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS for frontend. We empower developers to use any tooling they find helpful for getting their job done, including coding agents.

What You'll Do

• Create high-leverage user interfaces that unlock new capabilities and use cases on top of our model
• Turn raw model outputs and data into clear, inspectable UIs — owning a domain end-to-end, with craft and judgment over simple optimization
• Own product features end-to-end — from design and prototype to production — with craft and judgment
• Build polished, reliable user interfaces that are enterprise-scale
• Partner closely with product, design, and customers to translate real-world needs into model, system, and product improvements
• Instrument, measure, and improve product quality, reliability, and performance
