Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Software Development Manager to lead the frontend team building agentic web apps and MCP apps for AWS Security Hub and related services. You will guide architecture, AI tooling adoption, and ship fast with a focus on customer experiences.

You’ll manage distributed engineers across Seattle, New York, and Boston, drive hiring, and partner with product/design to deliver a cohesive console experience for multiple public-facing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience building web apps with React and modern web technologies.
• 3+ years designing or architecting complex systems.
• 5+ years of software engineer experience.
• Knowledge of SDLC practices and livesite operations.
• Experience partnering with product management teams.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery, quality, and roadmap for the frontend portfolio across multiple Security Hub consoles.
• Hire, onboard, and grow frontend engineers as the team scales.
• Develop engineers by assigning projects to broaden skills, especially in AI areas.
• Define technical direction with principal/senior engineers: architecture and AI integration.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to align APIs and sequencing.
