Job summary

First Orion is seeking a Frontend Engineer with a strong frontend focus to build and evolve enterprise applications used by carriers and internal teams to manage brands, programs, campaigns, and reporting across our platform.

You will design, build, and maintain modern web apps with Vue.js or React/Angular, integrate REST APIs, collaborate with Product and UX, and contribute to performance and code quality across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building modern web applications using Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Understanding of software design principles and application architecture.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modern web applications using Vue.js and related frontend technologies.
• Develop enterprise portal experiences used by customers and internal teams to manage brands, programs, and operational workflows.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services built on Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and UX teams to deliver intuitive and scalable user experiences.
• Build analytics and reporting interfaces that help users visualize and act on key business metrics.
• Contribute to application architecture, performance optimization, and frontend best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack.
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards for code quality and testing.
• Support enhancements and new feature development across multiple products and customer-facing applications.
