Job summary

NeighborShare is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to volunteer their expertise and help build a meaningful non-profit from its early stages. You will work with a dedicated team of volunteers to develop and evolve NeighborShare’s platform, with flexibility to work remotely for 5-10 hours a week.

This role requires a strong passion for social impact and professional experience with React. Additional experience with Stripe and willingness to learn GraphQL will be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for social impact and action-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit.
• Professional experience working with React.
• Experience with Stripe a plus; knowledge of GraphQL is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical roadmap and evolve NeighborShare's platform.
• Oversee junior developer/contractor implementing changes and feature rollouts.
• Explore and shape the organization’s crypto strategy.
• Provide operational support if platform issues arise.
• Maintain frontend code repositories.
