Reddit is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer for the Community Builders team. You will design, develop, and maintain user-facing features, ensuring performance and scalability while collaborating across product, design, data science, and engineering groups.

Applicants should have a CS-related degree and experience with React, Vue, Angular, or similar frameworks, plus API design with GraphQL/REST. The role supports a fully remote US-based work model with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related field.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and CSS.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs (GraphQL/REST); Thrift is a plus.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end from design to deployment.
• Strong learning mindset and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features with performance, security, and scalability in mind.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver high-quality products.
• Contribute to the full development cycle: design, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch; review code and docs.
• Set standards to improve developer workflows; coach and mentor engineers on the team.
• Continuously learn and improve technically and non-technically.
