Job summary

zettabyte-space in Palo Alto is seeking a frontend designer/developer to shape product interfaces from concept to production. You’ll design in Figma, implement in Vue.js (primary) and Next.js, and collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.

You’ll own dashboards, real-time visualizations, and ensure performance while balancing aesthetics with constraints. This hybrid role requires 3 days in office and 2 days remote; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years combined experience in frontend development and UI/UX design.
  • Strong Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred), React/Next.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
  • Experience with API integration, async data handling, and state management (Pinia/Vuex, Redux).
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket connections.

Job description

What you'll do

Bonus qualifications
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia)

  • Knowledge of backend technologies for better API collaboration

  • Real-time data visualization experience

  • OpenAPI/Swagger documentation experience

  • Formal design education or HCI background

  • Design systems experience (creating and maintaining)

  • Background in developer tools or technical product design
