Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a motivated Frontend Developer to build intuitive applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse. This role embraces questions, fast learning, and maintainable code in a hybrid environment with a great team in Columbia, MD.

You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists, define REST APIs, and write unit tests. A Top Secret security clearance and 5 years frontend experience (or equivalent with higher degree) are required; DoD 8140/8570 may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
• 5 years of frontend development/engineering with a B.S. in Computer Science or related field; 3 years with a Masters; or 9 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
• Help define and interact with REST based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and provide support.
• Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
• Other duties as assigned.
