Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a motivated Frontend Developer to build intuitive web applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse environment. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver robust user experiences.

Required are strong JavaScript skills, HTML/CSS, and experience with React/Vue/Angular; a Top Secret security clearance is mandatory, with 2–3 days per week in Columbia, MD.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• 5 years frontend software development/engineering with a B.S. in CS or related field; 3 years with Masters; or 9 years with HS diploma.
• 5 years experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Backbone) or similar competency.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
• Comfortable working on a Unix command line.
• Self-motivation; ability to multi-task and prioritize issues.
• Hybrid work with 2-3 days per week at Columbia, MD office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
• JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists for holistic UX.
• Define and interact with REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and conduct QA testing.
• Other duties as assigned.
