Oscar is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer / React to help scale customer-facing applications. You will be the second frontend hire, operating with high ownership to define frontend direction and best practices.

The role focuses on building React apps, collaborating with backend, product, and partner teams, and leveraging experience with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query to optimize performance and accessibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building production React applications.
• Strong experience with React architecture and state management tools (Redux Toolkit, Zustand or React Query).
• Experience integrating with backend APIs and delivering customer-facing features.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship React applications with a focus on quality and performance.
