Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Frontend Engineer for BizBuySell in San Francisco, onsite five days a week. You will design, develop, and maintain high-traffic web apps using ASP.NET Core MVC on the backend and Angular/Vue/TypeScript on the frontend.

You will build accessible interfaces, mentor teammates, establish architectural best practices, and collaborate with product managers to deliver features that align with the business domain of BizBuySell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited, in-person university or college.
• Track record of commitment to prior employers.
• Strong working knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with a modern SPA framework (Angular, Vue, etc.) and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support high-traffic, real-time web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC on the backend and Angular, Vue, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript on the frontend.
• Build responsive, accessible (WCAG-compliant) interfaces that work across browsers and devices.
• Lead in establishing architectural best practices and mentor junior team members.
• Analyze technical requirements and architect new components and web pages.
• Implement product features, refine specifications, and improve code quality.
• Apply software design patterns for reusable, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, source control, build automation, and testing processes.
• Take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions from concept to implementation.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business partners on product design and delivery.
• Gain a deep understanding of the company's business domain and products.
