Job summary

Global Payments, a leading payments company, is seeking a Software Engineer II – Portal (Front End) to join the Payrix engineering team in Cincinnati. You will own the portal's front-end features, collaborating with backend services to deliver scalable payments solutions and ensuring a seamless user experience for merchants and partners.

We value 3+ years of Angular frontend experience, 2+ years with ExpressJS, strong REST API skills, and a track record of mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience with emphasis on scalable front-end architectures.
3+ years of Angular front-end development.
2+ years of ExpressJS backend development.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and backend/frontend integration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own front-end features for the Portal within the Payrix platform.
Collaborate with backend services to deliver integrated payments solutions.
Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews.
Work with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and improve user experiences.
Contribute to building a scalable platform on AWS and related services.
