Job summary

Within3 is seeking a Frontend Engineer to help shape the next generation of its platform. You will work with product, design and backend engineers to build fast, accessible experiences used by clinicians and researchers worldwide.

Responsibilities include turning Figma designs into features with React/TypeScript, shaping architecture, integrating with GraphQL APIs via Apollo Client, and ensuring performance, accessibility, and cross-browser support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building SPAs with React and TypeScript.
• Strong CSS skills and a good eye for UX.
• Experience with client-side state management and data-fetching using GraphQL (Apollo Client).
• Experience with testing frameworks, preferably React Testing Library and Cypress.
• A solid grasp of asynchronous patterns and frontend performance.
• Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Babel, ESLint) and Docker.
• Experience with frontend logging and session replay for observability.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for collaboration.
• Live and have the right to work within the US.

Responsibilities

• Build new product experiences: turn Figma designs and specs into features using React and TypeScript.
• Shape the frontend architecture: define architecture, patterns and a reusable component library for the new platform.
• Integrate with our APIs: work with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client and manage client-side state and caching.
• Test and ship with confidence: write reliable tests with React Testing Library and Cypress, and keep CI/CD healthy.
• Own frontend quality: responsible for performance, accessibility, observability and cross-browser support.
• Raise the bar: collaborate in an agile team, review code and lift frontend standards across engineering.
