Job summary

Twitch Interactive, Inc. is seeking a Front-end Engineer to join the Browser Clients Team. You will ship performant, high-quality Twitch client experiences using TypeScript and React across multiple cities including Irvine, San Francisco, New York, and Seattle.

You will collaborate with feature teams, improve developer workflows, and contribute to architectural decisions for Twitch’s browser-based clients, driving performance, scalability, and observability with best practices.

Qualifications

• Architectural experience building highly scalable web apps.
• Understanding of web performance, scalability and security best practices.
• Experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client, SCSS/SASS, Webpack.

Responsibilities

• Work with Browser Clients team to build high quality Twitch client experiences.
• Build, maintain and improve platform capabilities and developer workflows.
• Become an expert in Twitch’s browser-client tech stack and guide feature teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions guiding browser-based client evolution.
• Uphold frontend engineering best practices through docs, tests, and education.
