Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks engineers to build AI-native developer tools and exceptional client software. You will own end-to-end features, write technical specs, and ship updates to customers, collaborating with designers and PMs to ensure a high bar for developer UX.

You will mentor teammates, review code, and drive projects from initial specs to shipping. Expect ownership from day one and opportunities to influence technical direction at AWS scale.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact, user-facing features built with TypeScript and React.
• Drive technical direction for client-side architecture and establish patterns that raise the bar for quality across the team.
• Mentor and guide less tenured engineers, helping them navigate technical challenges and grow their skills.
• Work with Product and Design to deeply understand customer workflows and build backward from their needs.
