Spire is seeking a strong front-end engineer to build production-grade applications that connect weather conditions to customer assets, locations, and routes. You will ship reliable customer products fast, evaluate AI-generated code, and own delivery from prototype through production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software with a strong front-end track record.
• Fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS and browser behavior.
• Experience with workflow-rich applications including asset management, monitoring, or alerting.
• Proven ability to evaluate AI-generated code and ship frontend features end-to-end.
• Production frontends experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build weather platforms with asset tracking, maps, time-series views, and dashboards.
• Create workflows for assets, routes, alerts, and operational decisions.
• Clarify complex data, including forecast uncertainty and alert severity.
• Leverage Claude Code and Codex to accelerate development and testing.
• Ship and operate production frontends with deployment pipelines and monitoring.
• Develop reusable components and ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with product, design, scientists, and API engineers to deliver incremental work.
